Red Sox Magic Number The Red Sox magic number is now 55. I was going to post a picture of Junior Seau wearing his Patriots' 55 but him with him wife was more appealing to me. Not sure but I think Seau is all-done with football (although it's possible he could pull a Brett Favre).

Tim Wakefield Happy birthday to Tim Wakefield who turned 42 today. Did you realize that if Wakefield pitched for the Oakland A's - he'd be one win away from tying the team record for wins and already be the team's all-time leader in strikeouts?
