Forgot to mention Cavsboard - might not have
seen the BDL story without their gentle nudge.
The other day I mentioned FanBoom as one
of my secret sources. Which was unfair to them;
they deserve recognition. I hereby formally salute FanBoom for directing me to fabulous stories on a daily basis. One of FanBoom's goals is...

The video in and title of this post

Several people have asked about the LEGO pictures.
The images are from HKLUG's Web site which says

Some great photography is unearthed by Carolyn. It's
not basketball related, but who doesn't love some fantastic
photography?
Is there any chance this story became garbled
in translation? Two nearly eighty-year-old Chinese women were not
sentenced to a year of labor. Were they? LeBron and crew are effectively silenced by the staggeringly athletic yet politically gridlocked Olympic Games;...
The collective patience of the Hong Kong LEGO
User Group (HKLUG) is stunning. I tangled with LEGOs
once or twice. Squares and rectangles in my hands, I made larger squares and rectangles. Brightly colored, yet sorely lacking in creativity. Constructing a miniature LEGO Beijing Olympic? Ridiculous. Not possible. Additional geometric configurations would be required.

In an earlier post, I mentioned Jersey strikes.
A New Yorker once explained to me the phrase
refers to a strike which happens almost by accident; this type of strike is not something of which to be proud. Same principle in Iran, it seems. Peace through sanctions is fine. Peace through people living, working, eating together, sharing their lives, is not the correct peace.
