The Cowboys have just signed Judd Garrett as their Assistant Director of Pro Scouting . The Cowboys now have three Garrett’s spread throughout the organization. Looks the the Dolphins wanted Fasano and Carpenter , but the Cowboys refused, and opted to trade Akin Ayodele instead. This was the right move in my opinion. Ayodele was “just there” occupying space and not making much impact on defense.

Ok, now that we just traded Akin Ayodele and Anthony Fasano for Miami’s 4th rounder, how does this change our draft strategy? Let’s begin to speculate….
First off this is a good move to me. Ayodele did not produce the numbers that Phillips had hoped, you can pencil in Bobby Carpenter in at MLB, alongside Zach Thomas. Spencer and Ellis will continue to rotate at OLB.

Breaking News: Adam Schefter is reporting the Cowboys have acquired the Dolphins 4th rounder this year for Akin Ayodele and Anthony Fasano.
Very-very nice move by Jerry. Not only did we trade average players to the Dolphins, but we have a 4th round pick back in our pockets, a high 4th rounder at that. Good job Jerry! I like this move.
