Many have speculated about Ryan Whitney's chronic foot injury over the last year, but no real info was ever really known about the injury that had been causing the talented defenseman so much misery. The Pittsburgh Penguins will appear on national television at least 6 times during the upcoming season. They have been selected to appear on the Versus Network 5 times and once on NBC thus far.
NBC has selected the Penguins Sunday January 18, 2009 game against the New York Rangers, however the team does have the opportunity to be selected three more times via NBC's flex scheduling option.

Greetings Hockey Buzzards! Sorry for the extreme delay between posts! But between the utter lack of news in Penguinsland and an increased workload with some other things I am involved in, I felt it was as good a time as any to take a short break.
