Joba Chamberlain left tonights game vs Texas in the 5th inning with an injury. As he was walking off the mound with trainer Steve Donanhue, Joba pointed to the rotator cuff area. Not good.

Dan Giese will join the rotation taking Darrell Rasner's spot. Giese is scheduled to start Friday vs. the Angels. Rasner told Joe Girardi that he will go to the pen and "get better". Also, Melky Cabrera will get "a couple of days off" according to the manager. Justin Christian will get the start in CF.
