On February 3, 2008, the New England Patriots lost in the Super Bowl. They finished the year 18-1. They were not undefeated. Since they had filed trademark applications for the phrases "19-0" and "19-0 The Perfect Season" before losing that game, one would assume that they would then withdraw those apps, right? Not if you're the New England G-D Patriots, you don't!
