All this talk about Beno Udrih's place among the league's most improved and the league's point guards is nice. For what it's worth, outside observers Empty the Bench place Udrih among their top 7 Most Improved candidates . Nate Jones has some good insight on what he saw from the Kings last Sunday , and also asks folks to stop heckling Ron Artest so hard.

While I enjoyed the "fat" years of the Kings continually reaching the playoffs every season, part of me says that those years were not legitimate, and the Kings are back to playing their appropriate role. Losers. Welcome back, Kings. Some sick parts of us missed you.

Last year, not only did the team finish weak, but Sactown's bright spot limped into the offseason as well. Not the case this season. Kevin Martin just completed the best month of his pro career, with 26.3 points per game on .634 true shooting, 4 rebounds and 2 assists .

Not that the difference between W or L has tons of weight at this point, and no win was even guaranteed had the play ended with a Spencer Hawes rebound instead of three Juan Carlos Navarro free throws. But good freaking gravy. Bad play, man. Bad play. I might also question just a bit the absence of John Salmons in the last quarter.
