Tuesday night in a 2-1 Detroit win, the
Red Wings' Aaron Downey backed down from Blues tough
guy D.J. King. Downey in the media questioned the toughness of Blues defenseman Jeff Woywitka after a game March 5. King followed Downey to his bench challenging him. He even poked Downey in the shoulder but he wouldn't take the bait. It was a gutless move and a sign the Wings will fail in the playoffs.
