Reading around the SU blogosphere I found this
tid bit about Eric Devendorf from syracuse.com's Mike Waters.
From what I read is that the junior guard for head coach Jim Boeheim has completed his 40 hours of community service and has begun to practice with the team once again.
At the start of this pick I was
9 and 4, there was only one game for
me to pick on the day after Christmas, and so I picked it...
The night before Christmas and all was so quiet, even in the National Basketball Association, as there were no game on tap, and that means there were no ex Syracuse players in action. So, this edition of "Orange in the League" is just about saying thanks for reading this, and come back for the ...

Syracuse Orange
As the Men's Basketball team enjoys its layoff
while waiting for the Big East part of the
schedule there must be some people that have to believe Jonny Flynn could be playing his last go around in the college ranks.
As my attempt to catch up on this
not so daily post continues (I see tomorrow as
being the day I get even), here is the 12/23 edition of the "Orange in the League" post. In this one there is a few teams that have a touch of orange in action...
If you believe in the old saying "a
picture is worth a 1,000 words" and you believe
that what Eric Devendorf was wrong, then this picture below is just for you...
I was just going over what syracuse.com had
that I might have missed and here is a
small post about the latest hire of head coach Doug Marrone. It's Greg Adkins, ex Tennessee line coach...
As usual the holidays bring the college basketball
games to a screeching halt. Well, except for the
fact that there is a Top Ten team playing tonight...
On this Christmas Day, as I sit on
my computer chair the gift I want to give
so very much to myself is: trying to catch up on my not so daily post called "Orange in the League". I am on the 12/22 games, and will try to come as close to being even as possible as I enjoy a nice and fully belly ...
One thing is for sure, head coach Doug
Marrone is trying to do exactly what he said
he would at his first press conference, he wants to show that this team is not rebuilding, but rejuvinating itself.
I do not know if I will be posting today or not. But I wanted to make sure that I told any and all that visit this humble blog of mine, from my family to yours:

As I climb closer and closer to being
even, and closer and closer to seeing what's in
those nice boxes underneath the tree, here is another edition of the post I call "Orange in the League". In the 12/21 edition there is only one ex Syracuse player taking to the hardwoods...
While this has been a hot topic for
anyone that is a fan of Syracuse, I haven't
blogged about it much, since I wanted to get as much knowledge of this story as possible...
In my ever lasting attempt of getting caught
up with this daily, but not so daily post
of the ex Syracuse players in the National Basketball Association, it is time to get another edition done, this time from 12/20. So, here we go, with the next installment of "Orange in the League".
The loss to Cleveland State seemed to have
mattered more to the people voting in the AP
& ESPN/USA Today Poll than the victory over Memphis. The AP dropped the Orange from 11th to 17th, while the voters on the other poll were a bit kinder, as SU only fell from 11th to 14th in their rankings
Unfortunately due to what is called the holiday
season I was not able to get home in
time to make any prediction for tonight's games. However, the good side is that I will be able to catch up with the two nights of picking that I have done and not reported on.
As far as the game was concerned last
night, the good parts right off the bat: 14th
ranked Syracuse (12-1) beat Coppin State (1-8) 82 to 71, the good part of this being they won, more than how close the score was.
As I continue to do the never ending
battle to catch up, I have arrived at 12/19,
where we find several ex Syracuse players going on the hardwood for the pro team. This means it's time to yet again to my (not so) daily post "Orange in the League".
As is the case, everytime we come close
to the game it is time for me to
do my usual post that I call my "Last Thoughts". As you know this post is all about what my gut feeling tells me or what I am thinking as the game approaches. It could be about players, or coaches, or the fans, or anything else
It is day three of the Big East
Pick'Em, and while I have not checked how well
I did yesterday (real life has gotten in the way), it is time to do my picks before I miss out on more games than needed (yes I missed Oral Roberts vs USF).
