Former Oswego State field hockey and women's lacrosse coach Marushka Eddy is the new head coach for both programs at division III Lasell College in Newton, Mass. Bethany Torrice has left the Oswego State women's hockey coaching staff to take a pair of coaching jobs at Castleton State in Vermont. The Spartans hired Torrice last month to head up their women's hockey and women's volleyball programs. Crunch Will Return to Oswego
 
The Syracuse Crunch will return to Oswego for the second year in a row according to the Post-Standard's Lindsey Kramer . The Crunch will face I-81 rival Binghamton in a pre-season exhibiton on Friday, Oct. 3 at the Campus Center Ice Arena.
