Do you feel sympathy for Pacman or Don Imus?
Published 13 days ago by BigBlueShoe at Stampede Blue: Front Page Posts
... I'm still going to call Adam Jones "Pacman" because Pacman is still a crappy cornerback who makes many dumb decisions on and off the football field. Reggie Wayne made a annual event out of him torching Pacman whenever the Colts faced the Titans. Pacman is lazy, mentally vacant, and simply not that good as his position. The Titans were wise to get rid of him, and the Cowboys were fools to acquire him.
But, I sense he will gain sympathy from people for the comments made recently by Don Imus. I won't speculate on whether Imus is a ...

Jerry Gray goes to Lubbock
Published 17 days ago by Skin Patrol at Hogs Haven: Front Page Posts
... Unfortunately, my two passions rarely meet. There aren't a lot (any?) Texas Tech Red Raiders currently on the Redskins. These are not sports entities with much in common historically. Because of regional disputes, the fine folks (salt of the earth) of Lubbock, Texas hate the Redskins, because here in Texas you root for the Cowboys or the ...

Is The Cardinals' Edgerrin James Hall Of Fame Material?
Published 5/14/2008 by cgolden at Behind the Steel Curtain: Front Page Posts
... , but he's still an above average back out of the backfield. If we project James to get about 1,400 yards from scrimmage during 2008, he would jump to 10th on the all-time list, and just inches (well actually 26 yards) from the former Cowboy, Tony Dorsett, in ninth. If we look past the 2009 season and project another 1,100 yards, Edge would then rank eighth all time, less than 100 yards behind former ...

Talking Anthony Fasano
Published 5/2/2008 by Matty I at The Phinsider: Front Page Posts
... Yesterday, Dave Halprin from Blogging The Boys gave us his thoughts on new Dolphins LB Akin Ayodele. So, today, Dave shares his thoughts below about new Dolphins TE Anthony Fasano:
Anthony Fasano was brought in when the Cowboys were planning to institute a 2-TE base offense and his job was to play opposite Jason Witten. We thought he was a tough blocker who could also get out in the passing lanes and make plays. This never really panned out. We dropped the 2-TE scheme pretty quickly and he went to being a reserve behind Witten and used as a ...
Did the Cowboys Draft the Wrong Running Back in the First Round?
Published 4/27/2008 by Ryan Wilson at FanHouse
... Taylor equates yesterday's choice to pass up on Mendenhall to the Cowboys' "ill-fated 1995 draft decision to pick a bunch of backups because their roster was so talented." Eh, that seems a tad overreactive, although I certainly understand the sentiment. Blogging the Boys puts the Jones pick in perspective: ...

With the 28th Pick in the MCM Mock Draft

....the Dallas Cowboys represented by gotitans27 select.... Felix Jones, RB, Arkansas As I said at pick 22 I don't think the Cowboys need to pick a running back here, but apparently Jerry Jones is in love with Felix Jones and will not let him pass if he is available. Both Jones's are from the University of Arkansas and Jerry is a big fan. I think Felix will be a solid player, however I think offensive tackle is the Cowboys biggest need right now. We know that their need for cornerback has decreased! If I had the #22 pick back ...
Pacman to be a Cowboy -- and I think that's just fine
Published 4/24/2008 by ETVal <info@bigblueview.com> at Big Blue View: Front Page Posts
Pacman Jones is going to be a Dallas Cowboy -- if Roger Goodell lets him back in the league, that is. That is as good a reason as any to take a break from all my poetry/songwriting -- and Giants discussion -- and look at what is happening around the league as the draft approaches. As for the Cowboys, owner Jerry Jones is continuing to turn his team into the old-time Oakland Raiders -- a halfway house for misfits. He's got TO. He's got Tony 'Jetsetter' Romo, who might be more interested in getting a ring for Jessica than one for his team. Now he's got Pacman, the baddest of ...
