We’re in the middle of the NCAA Tournament’s first round with Pitt and Robert Morris both playing today and the Penguins are continuing their hot streak trying to make the NHL playoffs. So today seems to be a perfect time to write about the Pittsburgh Pirates! Hopefully you didn’t miss Ian Snell’s start in the WBC against Venezuela. He got the loss, but pitched well in front of a lot of fans and an ESPN audience (playoff atmosphere). 4 innings, 1 run, 5 hits, two walks, 5 K’s. Puerto Rico lost, 2-0.

Question:
Should the Pirates bring up Andrew McCutchen as soon as there is an opening for him in the everyday lineup? Or should he remain in Triple-A for further development, regardless of the situation in Pittsburgh?
