The Serious Tip Turns 2: A Reflection
Published 23 days ago by theserioustip@yahoo.com (Jordi) at The Serious Tip
... Their constant feedback, encouragement, and ideas have kept me going. And of course as I've gone on, several bloggers have even asked me to contribute on their blog, either through cameo or regular appearance. To me, that is the ultimate compliment and many thanks goes to these bloggers as well. Sadly, as I mentioned before, blogs don't last forever. During two-year life of The Serious Tip, I've seen several great bloggers quit or go on indefinite hiatus (The Cav, Jack Cobra, among others). It is the sad reality of blogging. Like life, it moves on, and leaves dust ...

... Cobra wrote his goodbye today, and Paine and the other guys wrote theirs earlier in the week. Paine's is especially good. It's long, but it's worth the read. What's more, he spends some time writing way too much nice stuff about me. I haven't mentioned it until now because I just didn't know what to say, but my lack of response shouldn't be taken as apathy. I definitely appreciate everything Cobra and Paine have done for me or said about me in the last year. They were my first fans. And they wrote a good blog, too. I was a daily reader, ...

He will find love with a beautiful tribeswoman come to Port Charles to tell him of Robin's abduction, ferret out that Robin has not been kidnapped but instead run off to join an outer space brothel, and discover the perfect bat while lost in a desolate area of Ghana in a very special episode of his life. He will use this bat in a comeback in 2013 to win the World Series for the Las Vegas Wynns. [video] Jack Cobra, The Cobra Brigade Neighbor Quotient - I've ...

What's up, everybody? It's been two weeks since I posted over here... I've been busy trying to get the new site (Sports On My Mind) off to a good start. I did a few posts over there on the NBA playoffs, specifically stuff on the Hawks-Celtics series, which went the full seven games, and was (as predicted) the most exciting series of the first round. Now I'm back, and I'll be dropping posts daily. Yes, I missed Cobra & his crew, D-Fan, TUP, and Arin. We're going to continue to focus on the Knicks here, plus other ...

... This is yet another blow to an already depleted Indiana basketball roster. It is looking more and more as though DeAndre Thomas and Kyle Taber will be the frontcourt on the 2008-09 team. Incoming freshman Tom Pritchard may be receiving far more playing time than he could ever have imagined as a true frosh at IU. I anticipate further comment and more in depth analysis of these events from Cobra Brigade when the dust settles. ...

Hill Eases Concerns in Final Spring Outing
Published 3/26/2008 by Brian at Spring Training '08
The last big question the Cubs needed an answer to this Spring..."Can Rich Hill still throw strikes?" was answered yesterday as Hill threw five innings while striking out six and walking only one hitter. This was, by far, Hill's best outing of the Spring and lets the Cubs, and its fans, breathe a sigh of relief as Opening Day looms closer. ...

Not even expected to play because of a sprained MCL, Griffin came off the bench to score 17, leading the Sooners to the upset and putting them right back into tourney discussion
