Pushing For The Top
Published 4/9/2009 by PPP at Pension Plan Puppets
... Obviously From The Rink and Japers' Rink (coming up with site names is hard!) are a distant 1 and 2 (and probably not in the order that you'd expect) but we're holding off the filthy Habs. Mirtle's done a great job getting all 30 teams represented since he joined - Edmonton and Columbus are on the way - so it's a testament to everyone here to be in the top 5. Thanks to Chemmy, Wrap, and Mattblack because this site would not be half as good without them.

Let the debate rage: Imagine NHL awards applied to Panthers
Published 4/6/2009 by Whale4ever at Litter Box Cats

Mike Green’s Remarkable Season
Published 4/6/2009 by Richard at IllegalCurve.com
From James Mirtle of From the Rink:
So, Green’s 30 goals (and counting, given he has three games left to play) in 65 games is pretty darn impressive, ranking tied for 15th (or 14th if you throw Housley out) in the all-time scoring ranks for defencemen. In goals per game, Green’s performance is tied for seventh, and works out to 38 goals over an 82-game season.
But … like Ovechkin’s marvelous 65-goal season last year, Green’s managed the feat in an ...
