... In addition to this very blue blog (in the non-pornographic, more literal sense of the word blue), I also have a white one, based at a website that you may have heard of. (And you can probably go ahead and drop the word "may" from that sentence.) The site is DraftExpress.com, the blog is called BasketBollocks, and the URL is here: ...

It kind of hurt when he said he didn't like the Seattle Supersonics, but other than that, he shows great composure for a 15 year old. We'll be hearing and seeing a lot of this guy in the next three years here in Seattle. ...
A Goodbye to Jannero Pargo
Published 19 days ago at Hornets247.com Blog
... During a recent Liveblog at Yahoo, I asked the participants if they thought the thirty-two good games Jannero Pargo had per year were worth the fifty bad ones. Dwyer corrected me, pointing out that Pargo really gave your team fifty bad games per year, sixteen good ones, and sixteen Nova ones. He's absolutely right. When Pargo is on, he's a star. Jonathan Givony of Draft Express can attest to that. During that Dallas series, ...

J.J. Hickson - In Review
Published 7/21/2008 by Bob at Cavs Board
... and Wallace, but Smith and/or Varejao have the chance of being moved this season before the deadline, and if that happens, Hickson would easily work into a four man rotation. If he can prove capable of defending on the NBA level, I’d be more optimistic right now. Hickson seems like just the type of aggressive opportunist that will thrive next to Lebron. I’d love see a Jason Maxiell type contribution from the kid. Below I’ll post some of the recaps given by the guys over at DraftExpress of JJ’s individual performances (some will be added later, they’re a bit backlogged): ...

28. Grizzlies From Lakers Marreese Speights PF/C Age: 20, 6'10", 245 lbs. Florida, Sophomore Draftexpress.com I realize this is just wishful thinking but it would make me so happy if the Grizzlies somehow managed to pick up Marreese Speights at #28. I don't normally get too worked up about late round mock draft picks but it would make me so great to draft Speights with the Lakers pick. I doubt he will fall this fall but one can always dream.

NBA Draft: A Kink in the Plans?

... Another deal that appears to be on the block is the Charlotte Bobcats acquiring the 20th overall pick from the Nuggets, with the ‘Cats reportedly looking in the direction of Roy Hibbert. Couple this with the fact that the Blazers and/or Kings may now look to move up to acquire a point guard (D.J. Augustin). This sounds similar to when you select first overall in your fantasy league, only to watch player after player be taken ahead of your next selection - only we do not pick first. Draft Express now shows a huge run on big men immediately before the 19th selection. DeAndre ...
Who Can You Draft At #58?

... Or, the Lakers may try to trade up to early in the second round, as was rumored on Draft Express. The target would be George Hill, who comes out of Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis. Needless to say, I have seen none of his games (if you have send me a note), so what follows in terms of a preview is culled from Draft Express and other places. Hill is a 6-2, 180 pound guy who is projected as a point at the NBA level. He can shoot the ball from the outside — he took 26% of his team’s ...

All the fans want Rose, and all the mocks say he’s the pick, but I find it a little weird that we haven’t heard any rumors at all coming from the organization. Nothing. No one has leaked that they prefer Rose yet, and it’s a little worrisome. Usually we know these things by now, right? Jeez, everyone knew the Bears wanted Matt Forte- in the second round- the day after the combine. As we inch closer to Thursday’s draft, and Bulls continue to be so ...
