Game Preview #19 - Chicago Bulls at Milwaukee Bucks

... just coming back after missing 14 games with an ankle injury.  If he gets going, don't be surprised if the Bucks get back in the playoff race in the East, because they have too many weapons to be one of the worst offensive teams in the league for long.  For what it's worth, John Hollinger has the Bucks 13th in his Power Rankings (mostly because of a strong strength of schedule). Bogut hopeful to probably play vs. Bulls Wednesday; game is a must win

... Prior to the draft last summer, Bucks Diary campaigned long and hard for the Bucks to draft Alabama big forward Richard Hendrix, whom he considered the most underrated player in the draft. The Golden State Warriors took Hendrix in the 2nd round. Bucks Diary is on the Hendrix campaign trail again this week now that the Warriors have sent Hendrix down to the D-League after hardly playing him at all in the early going. Diary says the ...

... his defensive system. Well, we might be on the verge of finding out this year what happens when you combine a good offense with a Mike Brown defense, but that just won’t happen until the Cavs cut down the turnovers and increase the rebounds. So that’s what I’ll be watching tonight in this matchup against a pretty good rebounding team in their own right in the Milwaukee Bucks. ... — so we here at Ball Don't Lie have decided to take a second look. Today: the best Milwaukee Bucks blogs. For a relatively anonymous team that has played some pretty middle-of-the-road ball over the last five years (once you put it all together), the Bucks have a shockingly good array of blogs covering them. We're stuck to profiling just three, but please do check out Jim Paschke's blog, and the sincerely awesome Bob Boozer Jinx. 3. Bucks Diary — A stats-heavy site that deserves more exposure. 2. ...

Pistons aim to reload winning streak against Bucks

... Palace last night, the Pistons should come out firing against the Bucks. Michael Redd is still one of the top guards in the East and Andrew Bogut isn’t half the bust he once looked like he’d become, but seriously, the last time these two teams met, the Pistons won by 45 freakin’ points. The Bucks have lost eight of their last 10, so it’s not like things have turned around for them all that much. For the Bucks’ view of the world, check out MKE Bucks Diary and Brew Hoop. Bucks mid-season write-up from Brewhoop

If there's one team that suffers from a severe lack of media attention, it's the Milwaukee Bucks. Bad team, small market, unpopular shrinking city, and your marquee player is the god-fearing, non-dunking Michael Redd. For some reason, this somnolence even spills over to the blog world; in contrast to vibrant blogging scenes for some of the league's worst teams, the Bucks barely even However, I've found the one exception (actually there are a few others): Brewhoop. Did Charlie Bell beat the Bobcats?
Published 12/26/2007 by Brett at The Bratwurst - Milwaukee Bucks Blog
... I saw an interesting post at MKE Bucks Diary where Ty writes that Bell had the second best game of any of the Bucks. I find this to be a major stretch, but Ty is a big believer in Wages of Wins and Win Shares, so it makes sense to him. Personally, I have a major problem with the Wages of Wins school of thought, but that’s not the point of this post. If anyone wants to know why then drop me a comment and I can email my thoughts on the issue to you, but for now I’ll just leave it at that. By IPM and from my view in the seats, I’d say that Bell’s box ...

This guy’s been groomed and pulled up and fast tracked and DON’T look at his record to close out this last season, cuz obviously they were in full tank mode, and you think they’re gonna shove him out the door for DEL HARRIS?? I mean, no disrespect to Del, but he’s not some hot commodity, he’s been floating around for ages; for chirssake, he was the lakers coach when their best player was CEDRIC CEBALLOS. Please, you do the math. (actually, that factoid may be in his favor. Anyway.) I think the Bucks will be quite a bit better, actually, this year, and I think they would be regardless of who they pick up in the draft (although that could help immensely). Not sure how I got sidetracked to Bucks talk, well, actually, I do know, but, whatever. For more Bucks stuff be sure to check out Mike Bucks Page .
