[image] Eight months ago, when I started Jimmy Scott's High & Tight, I recorded an audio greeting for newbies to the site, which was pretty much everybody. The site, the content, and me, quite frankly, have gone through quite a bit of growth since then. I could say we've all matured, but I don't want to appear bigger than my britches. It's better. ... promoted Chris Demons to Syracuse. That, of course, is notable because he was brought into the organization based on his play last year with the South Georgia Peanuts... What? Need more? Alright: the Peanuts were team in the independent, South Coast League-- which only operated during 2007. They were managed by a reputation-rebuilding Wally "86 Mets" Backman (the league's hitting instructor, you ask? A little tub of awesome they call Cecil Fielder), and featured in "Playing For Peanuts", a 10 part documentary series, which is just now being released online. See? ...
