Robots In Spandex, Sleeping Until Noon And Falling On Your Ass [Waxing Off]

... It's tragic that at 16 or 18 or 20 (or in the case of the Chinese team, 12) these girls' careers are over. They sacrificed the joys of childhood to chase a dream that likely didn't come true. But in the long run, they will be fit enough to do cartwheels into their dotage. Can you really put an age limit on fitness? Without a doubt, baseball’s reigning king of between-innings hijinks roosts in Philadelphia. The Phillie Phanatic defeated Wally the Green Monster in the First Round of the Mascot Tournament.
His skits, ranging from boxing palookas or seducing umpires are often seen on Sportscenter and all the best Philly baseball blogs.

Chase Utley, You Are The Man!

... BUT, the bigger story to Philly fans was Chase's reaction to being booed upon the intros. Sure, if the All-Star game was in Philly, and David Wright stepped up to the plate, you can believe that he's getting the treatment. Regardless, Chase took offense, and I would too, and reacted like anyone else would. The video is pretty funny, check it out below. I wonder how many Mets fans were in attendance? I did see a few jerseys in the crowd, but it seemed like a Yankees dominated affair, which is obvious considering it was in the Bronx. ...

Lito Sheppard could line up at wide receiver?
Published 5/29/2008 by EnriqueFed (noreply@blogger.com) at ALL THINGS PHILLY SPORTS
This one comes via 950 ESPN and the700level: Apparently Lito Sheppard might be lining up at wide receiver next season. That's right, according to Brian Seltzer of 950 ESPN, instead of trying to trade Sheppard for a receiver they might simply convert him into one for certain packages next season. As odd as it sounds, apparently Sheppard has been wanting to play receiver ever since he started playing for the Eagles, so this could be part of an effort to keep him happy. While Lito has never played receiver in the NFL, he apparently experimented with it when he ...
