Hey let's break up the first playoff team (absolutely thrilling to watch I'll add) this incompetent franchise, ownership, and front office has lucked into in over a decade so we can build around an undersized 2-guard and center, neither whom can defend.

    Sign me up?

    realistically contend

My friend it looks like you've never been to Dubs land. We're the best fans in all of hoops and we got nuts when our team just qualifies for post season action. Who said anything about contending?

I'm sure the Celtics and Ainge could've made those same arguments last year and traded away Paul Pierce. It's easier to build a contender (or even a playoff team) with BD on your roster than it is to build it with absolutely nothing in return.

Every year's a rebuilding year here and quite frankly it's getting old.

Andris is still just 22 years of age, but he’s already come a long way from being the “The One Minute Man” (a moniker earned for his inability to last more than a minute without committing a foul).

Hmm... that sounds so familiar: One Minute Man

it's hard to find Spurs fans outside of San Antonio

Shoot, it's hard to find a Spurs fan inside San Antonio. They couldn't even fill the stands for their home Western Conference Finals games. Think that would happen in Oakland or New York?

The San Antonio Spurs run in the 2000's might be the single worst thing that could have happened to the league this decade. Boring style of play, floppers littered up and down the roster, whiners after ever call, stale uniforms, and a tiny market that's lucky to even have an NBA franchise. I know hardcore NBA fans who refuse to watch the Spurs in the finals.

Wow if you read Jack's quotes he was just being real- it's not like he dissed the Celtics or anything. The headline and all the Boston homers are really blowing this out of proportion. But hey, I guess that's what they do in Boston.
