2007 NBA Playoffs Pick'em - Contest Overview

It's like the BallHype Game Picks met the NCAA bracket, hooked up, and had a kid — a really big yet surprisingly nimble and athletic one. Here's how it works:

  1. Fill out your bracket with the teams you predict will win each series.
  2. The possible score from each series depends on the round (you get more for correct picks later in the playoffs) and the number of people who enter the contest. Get the dirty details on scoring.
  3. As the playoffs progress, you can come back and edit your bracket, even if your team has been eliminated — you just won't get as many points.
  4. The person at the end of the Finals with the most points wins! In the event of a tie, the winner will be the person with the highest Game Picks score from all NBA Playoffs games. So don't forget about the Golden Picks Contest in all the hoopla about the Playoffs Pick'em!

The Prize: The New Official Game Ball

Introduced this season by the NBA and embraced by players across the league, this amazing ball from Spalding is sure to be with us for decades to come. Who needs 8 oblong panels on a basketball? That's about 6 too many! This achievement in engineering has two interlocking, cross-shaped panels made of microfiber composite. That's more material coverage — and exceptional moisture management. From what we gather, owning this ball might even help to get you access into a certain secret society.

How to Enter

Just fill out your bracket. It's free to enter the NBA Playoffs Pick'em Contest, but you do need to be a member of BallHype. Oh, and you really should read the official contest rules first.
