this 2-minute spot was just released to promote the men's team and their quest. --- This TV spot will air throughout the qualifying rounds beginning on Sunday, on ESPN, ABC, and FOX networks. --- CONCACAF qualifying rounds go from mid-June, with the USMNT kicking off at the HDC on June 15.

Philadelphia tv reporter Alycia Lane seems to have
a "thing" for Rich Eisen. So much of one
that she recently e-mailed several provocative pictures of herself to Eisen. Unfortunately for her, or some might argue Eisen, Eisen's wife, Suzy Shuster, yes the ABC college football sideline reporter, shares the e-mail account with Eisen. Her response to the e-mail is quite intense.

Jim McKay, 86, a longtime television sports journalist,
has died in Maryland after a long illness, according
to a statement from the McKay family. McKay is best known for hosting ABC's "Wide World of Sports" and 12 Olympic Games. McKay won numerous awards for journalism, including two Emmys and the George Polk Award for his sports and news coverage of the 1972 Munich Olympics.

NBA Media Watch Bloomberg reports the NBA has
offered 68 full-time employees of its NBA TV premium
cable channel buy-outs, and will turn the channel over to a new operator in the coming months. (Via The Biz of Basketball .) No word on who the new operator will be. NBA TV seems to be well-liked by most fans, and the combination of live games, classics, and studio programming
