Is it just me or is Major League
Baseball and media whores ESPN milking Josh Hamilton’s story
for all that it’s worth? How many more times per game do I have to be reminded by Joe Buck about Hamilton’s past drug abuse? Joe, if you need something to talk about then why not tell us about the fact that you don’t even like baseball anymore.

Fox's Ken Rosensquirrel, former star of Dorf on
Golf, continued his frequent jack-in-the-box pop-up antics during last
night's MLB All-Star game, springing from the camera pit to spew various trade reports and rumor mill-type material while generally ...
In case you missed it (and you might
have because it lingered a bit, just a bit),
Tuesday night's All-Star Game was an instant classic. It had everything. Great pitching, some ridiculous plays by the likes of Miguel Tejada and Nate McLouth and a walk-off sac fly play at the plate. Amidst all the awesomeness, was one Dan Uggla.
I know my wife isn't going to let
me watch this whole thing. I'm sure she's going
to make me watch Big Brother 10. But sitting through a night of Tim McCarver might be too much anyhow. A nice pregame ceremony but not sure Joe Buck was the best voice for it. Still it was nice to see all those legends together. And I guess baseball didn't even have a Pete Rose controversy, but the all-time hits ...
Welcome to "The Best," a new series from
the people who brought you "Would You Do," "Blogger
Interviews" and "What Really Grinds My Gears." It's just what it sounds like: what's the best ______? "Best" is such a subjective word and that's really ...
This was just about the only exciting moment
from last night's All Star Game. Yogi Berra was
a guest in the booth in the 3rd inning and Joe Buck decided to chat him up about Sex and The City's Carrie for some reason.... Too funny. Enh....she ...
He's baaaaaack! We all knew it was too
good to be true folks. Joe Buck is back
with his good pal Tim McCarver and they're calling a Yankees game. Kill me now. Also, I know it's tough to work out schedules with other networks ahead of time, but ...
With the Mets batting in the fifth on
Saturday, and Andy Pettitte dealing for the Yankees, Tim
McCarver presented a scenario that could land the lefty in Cooperstown. Joe Buck didn't hesitate to share his opinion.
Our own little Jab Jab? Since 1900, Tim
McCarver said, any pitcher whose record is 100 games
over .500 (Pettitte is 210-118) has entered the Hall of Fame. T-Mac reasoned Pettitte could pitch another three years ("if he wants to") and with the way ...
The utterly contemptible duo of Joe Buck and
Tim McCarver, who are destined to ruin your MLB
postseason with the fatal combination of pretension and smarmy (better them than Steve Lyons , right?), got into brief Hall of Fame debate over the weekend ...
I'm borderline furious this morning and not just
because I have to mention Colin Cowherd. Joe Buck
was on ESPN Radio this morning, and you can't make this stuff up, said he doesn't enjoy Baseball anymore and chooses to watch the Bachlorette over ...
Sports talk radio is the place where announcers
and analysts take off the masks and tell us
how they really feel about the sports they cover and the people playing them — because they really don’t think anyone is listening. Last month, ...
Chalk this up with something I never though
I'd say, but thank god for Skip Bayless today.
First Take decided to replay and discuss Joe Buck's comments this morning and here is Skipper's rather well thought out and spot on response.... See how ...
I knew there was a reason why I
have always been so down on Joe Buck ,
and now, after hearing him talk to Colin Cowherd today (via Awful Announcing ), I no longer have to blame it on: "works and apparently enjoys the company of Tim McCarver ." As you ...
Joe "Balls Deep" Buck is one of the
most highly respected and high-profile sports announcers working today
and, according to one plucky Midwesterner we all know, is also a true gentlemen when introduced to raisin-filled sports bloggers . Buck's ...
Joe Buck is no shill for Major League
Baseball. Far from it, in fact. Not only can
Buck rarely be bothered to broadcast games, calling fourteen regular season games in the past two years, but he has made it known that he does not enjoy the game as ...
Let me start by saying I don't like
Joe Buck. In fact, I've never liked Joe Buck.
When I watch Saturday afternoon baseball or the playoffs on Fox, it takes everything in my power to stop from hitting the mute button. He doesn't add anything to my ...
