MSG asks judge to dismiss claim

Madison Square Garden yesterday asked a U.S. District Court judge to dismiss last month's claim by the NHL that alleged that the Rangers breached NHL bylaws by challenging league rules, a move that the league said could lead to disciplinary proceedings - fines, suspension or even termination of ownership with a vote of three-quarters of the owners.

RIP Bobby Murcer

Bobby Murcer died today at the age of 62. This is a truly sad day for the Yankees and their fans. He was a great Yankee and an even better man. I grew up listening to Murcer call Yankees game on WPIX, and later on MSG and YES. I wish I had been able to see him play.
