We launched Ballhype on Facebook this weekend. All you have to do is add Ballhype to your Facebook profile, and you'll be able to see the stories that you've voted up or submitted. There is also an Edit link in the Ballhype title bar on your profile - from there you can set preferences on what type of content to show on your Facebook profile, and whether to add a Facebook link to your Ballhype profile. (Check my profile to see a sample.) We'll be adding more functionality in the next few days, so if you have any suggestions definitely let us know.
Why we're excited: Facebook just recently opened up its platform to third-party developers, and this could be a great opportunity to get Ballhype in front of some new sports fans. If you're a Facebook user, try adding it and let us know. We'll do an official announcement in the blog in a couple of days but wanted to get it in front of you guys first.
Ballhype on facebook is great. It definitely adds a bit more interest to facebook for me anyway!
Just wondering if there are plans to have separate news feeds for different sports. For example, if it would be possible for me to feed only NBA stories to my facebook page, as this is primarily all that interests me and the majority of my friends.
Right now it displays whatever you're hyping up, so if it's NBA stories that's what people will see. But more customization and access to new stories are good ideas - keep them coming!
