Not sure if I should post this here, but the more people invoved, the merrier!
Last season, I declared April 5th to be Unsung Player Day. Was a rousing success, and we're all going to do it again! The details can be found here, http://with-malice.com/20090314906/articles/nba/unsung-player-day.html But basically, it's an opportunity to celebrate the lesser appreciated players within the NBA.
What I request is to put up a tribute piece on your site to a player who fits the above description. A role player who gives his all in the 2-5 minutes he gets per game (should be definitely under 10 minutes). Someone who doesn't get a lot of recognition. If people send me a link to their piece on the day, I'll have a running thread-piece on here where I'll link to each and every piece.
On the day, you put up a piece on your site that fits as close to the criteria as possible - send me a link (don@with-malice.com) and I'll post your participation on a thread-piece at my site (the 'parent' piece, if you like). If you could link back to that parent thread, that'd be awesome (I'll probably have it up 12 hours or so before most of you hit April 5th - given I'm in Japan!)...
Hopeful to beat last year's participation - 37 blogs!
