The big difference, of course is that Mr. Henry's checkbook is much larger than Mr. Loria's, and the club can afford not only to bring in the occasional big gun along with the freshman, but can afford to sign and retain the Papelbons and Ellsburys of the world. Based upon what we saw last spring, the farm still has a depth of talent, although no one in last year's transitional class was screaming phenom.
