Yovani Gallardo was examined in Milwaukee on Friday
morning and it was discovered that he tore the...
ACL in his right knee yesterday in the fifth inning. Dave Bush was recalled from Triple A Nashville to take Gallardo’s roster spot. This is just a devastating injury for the Brewers. Gallardo provided another top of the rotation pitcher to go along with Ben Sheets.

If ever there was a time the Brewers
needed a series win it was this one with...
the Cardinals. It may only be the second week in May, but coming into Friday night the Brewers had lost six straight games and were in total free-fall mode. Nothing that winning three of four against a division rival couldn’t fix. Dave Bush pitched a phenomenal game when needed.

After giving up a two-run home run to Jason Bay in the fourth, Bush appeared visibly shaken and was never able to recover.

Dave Bush had his best outing of the
season last night against the Atlanta Braves. Unfortunately, the...
bats didn’t wake up until after he had left the game, so Bush got a no decision. Bush pitched seven innnings while only giving up two solo home runs. The first came in the first inning by Kelly Johnson and the second came the following inning by Gregor Blanco. After that, Bush was lights out.
