He allowed four runs on six hits with two walks and six strikeouts . He basically kept Lakeland in a 2-1 game going into the eighth with seven straight batters retired -- and no hits allowed since a two-run double in the third -- before he gave up a leadoff homer and then walked the next batter. It's his deepest outing to date, and statistically, probably his most encouraging.
