Daisuke Matsuzaka starts tonight for the Boston Red Sox. Let’s all hope he doesn’t duplicate his last outing where he had 8 walks. He can duplicate the winning part though by all means as he looks to go 6-0 on the season. Glen Perkins makes his first MLB start for the Twins. He has appeared in 23 games for Twins, all of them in relief.

Daisuke Matsuzaka gave the Boston Red Sox 7 strong innings and the offense backed him up with 4 solo home runs as they beat the Minnesota Twins 5-2 in front of 33,839 at the Metrodome. The win is only the 2nd of the season for the Red Sox in a domed stadium.
