King Cole mows down the Braves

Cole Hamels showed Brett Myers how it's done. Hamels pitched his first career shutout to lead the Phillies to a 5-0 win over the Braves. King Cole went 9 innings, gave up only 4 hits and struck out 6 batters in a 120-pitch complete game shutout. He was simply dominant from the beginning, turning aside 15 straight batters at one point. Cole Hamels, fan of "The Office?"

Judging by the way he made very short work of the Braves last night, I'm guessing yes. Cole had the Braves swinging early and often, lest they have to deal with that change-up behind in the count, and wrapped things up in a cool 2:13.
