No Laffey Matter Aaron Laffey’s debut on Monday against the New York Yankees was impressive. You might look at his line of 5.2 IP, 3 H,4 ER, 1 BB, 1 K and think otherwise, but he was the victim of some bad luck and lethargic defense.

Though 0-2, it looks like I’m not alone in loving what Aaron Laffey has been able to do through his two starts this season as Aaron Gleeman is right on board. In fact, Gleeman calls Laffey one his favorite sleepers over the past few years - and the kid is showing us why.
