On a foul ball in the second inning
of tonight's game vs the Marlins, Jeff Keppinger fouled
a ball off his left knee. X-rays revealed that the Reds SS suffered a fractured left kneecap. He will undergo an MRI tomorrow. Bad news for the Reds ...
Big surprise that a Reds shortstop gets injured
right? Jerry Hairston Jr. fractured his left thumb last
night sliding into 2nd base, and is expected to be out 2-4 weeks. The big question now is who replaces him. Jeff Keppinger is rumored to be back by Thursday, but of course they are still going to call someone up. Problem is the only people on the 40 man are 2 catchers... continued...

Another one bites the dust...
SS Jeff Keppinger had seven straight hits before
striking out in the eighth inning Sunday. It was
the longest streak for a Reds batter since Adam Dunn also had seven straight hits on July 26-27 of last season. Including a walk, Keppinger reached ...

err... worst from this past weekend in fantasy baseball! Just missing the Top Five was the weekend hit leader, former Mets great Jeff Keppinger, who read the eulogy at my team's funeral Sunday after he buried us.
Tuesday night brings two new injuries - the
severity of which are unknown at this time. Cincinnati
shortstop Jeff Keppinger apparently has fractured his left Patella (kneecap) after fouling a ball off his knee. A fractured Patella is one of the ...
CINCINNATI -- As recently as the beginning of
this season, Jeff Keppinger was mostly an unheralded utility
player whom few outside of Cincinnati knew. Fast forward to Tuesday, and the Reds are trying to figure out how to move on without their best ...
CINCINNATI (TICKER) — Cincinnati Reds shortstop Jeff Keppinger
suffered a fractured patella in his right knee on
a foul ball in the second inning in Tuesday night’s game against the Florida Marlins . Keppinger underwent an X-ray which revealed the ...
Jeff Keppinger breaks his kneecap . Dusty Baker
looks longingly at his office telephone, telling himself he
doesn't remember Neifi Perez's number. He can't remember. Reaching -- no -- he can't let his heart be made a plaything again. Surely there's a ...
Keppinger coming back could mean some bench time
for Edwin Encarnacion if he continues his struggles at
the plate. I don't really agree with that, but given Baker's baseball knowledge I wouldn't be surprised by it. Now if only Baker could figure out that Jeff Keppinger is by far his best lead off man on the team. The idea of a... continued...
I'm kinda surprised to see Cabrera get the
call considering he's not a middle infielder, but then
