Speaking to Mets.com, John Maine said after doctors
removed the bone spur on his right shoulder they
told him “… it was the biggest one they’d ever removed, the biggest one they’d ever seen."
John Maine underwent successful surgery today at the
Hospital for Special Surgery in New York. He will
begin rehab immediately and is expected to be fully healed by Spring Training 2009.
