After a night where the bullpen for the
Boston Red Sox was abysmal (David Aardsma excluded), they
needed a great outing from the their ace of aces Josh Beckett. His pitching plus the bat of one Manny Ramirez were enough to help the Red Sox get past the Yankees 7-5 in front of 55,088 at Yankee Stadium. The win puts the Sox back in first place in the AL East on the young season.
