The Dugout: Tales Of The Instant Replay, or "Who Re-Watches the Watchmen?"

By this point in a season, nothing is easier to predict than a race for the Most Valuable Player award, which goes not to the best player but to the best player who fulfills a variety of arbitrary criteria. Once you admit that the award is what it ...

How Are The Twins Leading The AL Central?
How Are The Twins Leading The AL Central?
I wasn't surprised to watch the Twins take 2 out of 3 from the Tribe over the weekend. Disaster in the Dome
To sum up the series this is what happened. In games 1, 2 and 4 the Sox starters didn’t pitch well. They were all felled by the big inning, which was due in part to the Twins uncanny ability to hit with runners in scoring position with 2 outs, oh, and some fellow named Justin Morneau. The bullpen collectively crapped the bed which eliminated any hopes of comebacks, but there's still plenty of hope
