According to the LA Times , Kelvim Escobar
revealed today that he has a tear in his
right shoulder. He will spend two weeks trying to strengthen the shoulder, but if that doesn't help, he will most likely undergo surgery. Escobar believes the surgery could end his season, if not his career. Ouch!

John Lackey is out likely until May with
a strained triceps . Lackey joins Kelvim Escobar on
the DL to start the season. With the top two in their rotation missing at least all of April, the Angels might not find the road to the AL West crown as easy as some predicted.
