It's tough being Bill Plaschke these days. His man Ol' Snakeskin Boots Colletti is running the underperforming Dodgers, Pencilneck DePodesta having long been run out of town on a Plaschke-sharpened rail. Can Bill bring himself to admit that some of Bootsy's moves have been questionable at best? Well, no, not yet. You see, losing isn't about the players. Now, (finally) I’m beginning to come around and admit it was a horrendous signing even though I was originally for it . This guy is more clueless than Raul Mondesi at the plate.

Screaming Sports' Phil Yoon breaks out his famed MLB Fantasy Minute and breaks down the MLB's top five stories. Low batting average does not mean low fantasy production. Dodgers youngsters are making their case. And is K-Rod a fantasy MVP? "Multiple baseball sources said Sunday that the Dodgers and Pirates are in serious talks about a trade that would ship Wilson west.

A Dodgers source indicated that Los Angeles might be willing to deal center fielder Matt Kemp. The 23-year-old right-handed hitter, who has both power and speed, is considered a potential...

kensai posted 27 hours ago from www.firenedcollettinow.com [link]

Find more top sports news, videos, and blogs on BallHype: MLB, Matt Kemp, Los Angeles Dodgers, Pittsburgh Pirates, Philadelphia Phillies

He played decently well in his limited role and was expected to fill the utility spot for the Dodgers going into the 2008 campaign. Those plans were sidetracked, however, when Abreu reported to Spring Training still not feeling right after having...

kensai posted 27 hours ago from www.firenedcollettinow.com [link]

Find more top sports news, videos, and blogs on BallHype: MLB, Los Angeles Dodgers
