Trade analysis: It's now being reported that the
Yankees have traded Jose Tabata , Ross Ohlendorf ,
Phil Coke and George Kontos for Xavier Nady and Damaso Marte . The Yankees haven't confirmed this, but Nady was pulled from the Pittsburgh lineup, and Coke was pulled from his scheduled start tonight.
Mike Jacobs isn't hitting many home runs lately,
but he's keeping his batting average at a solid
level, notes Mike Harmon. See who else you should pick up on the waiver wire, including Rockies catcher Chris Iannetta, who is available in 81% of Foxsports.com fantasy leagues.

That's right, the Houston Astros, who are ten
games removed from a playoff spot have acquired a
veteran free-agent-to-be starting pitcher . I suppose this is Ed Wade's idea of answering back to C.C. Sabathia and Rich Harden. Cute, if not ...
There are good trades, there are bad trades,

CINCINNATI -- The Padres found a willing trade

Even before Randy Johnson delivered his first pitch
Monday night, there was more bad news awaiting the
Diamondbacks. And no, for once, it wasn't another injury from out of the blue. But the problem was, indeed, blue. Dodger Blue, to be exact. By the ...
While the Oakland Athletics were only six games
behind the Los Angeles Angels when they traded Rich
Harden to the Chicago Cubs, I don't think many people were expecting the A's to actually catch and pass the Angels. Obviously, Billy Beane didn't ...
Who are the top 2-start pitchers this week?
One is Rich Harden, who had an impressive debut
as a Cub. Possible sleeper in Florida's Chris Volstad. Also, compete pitching rotations for the upcoming week for every team to help your fantasy team.
It was at least a little bit of
old and new on display, if not a changing
of the guard going on in Arizona. The old looked more like same-old, with 44-year-old Randy Johnson pitching shutout ball into the late innings against the Cubs -- a team that ...

The Boston Red Sox head into today’s travel/off
day on a high after taking 2-of-3 and 2
in-a-row from the Arizona Diamondbacks. Last night’s pitching matchup, sponsored by old age homes across America, didn’t disappoint as 40-somethings Tim Wakefield and Randy Johnson showed the youngsters out there that they can still pitch.
