Cubs skipper Lou Piniella took a small step
backwards on Saturday when he chose to adjust his
lineup by moving Alfonso Soriano to the two hole and dropping Kosuke Fukudome to fifth in the order. Moving Soriano to second and dropping Fukudome to fifth decreases their potential scoring output. While the difference is negligible, it’s worth investigating nonetheless.

town and 'abracadabra', he's gone....it's time to move onto
the next Cubs player who should 'hit the bricks'. Who says, 'hit the bricks' anymore? It's been written and I can't take it back. Anyways, the next Cubs player who should go (besides Jacque Jones, that would be too easy) is Ryan Theriot.

As you know by now, from time to
time I'll make a prediction or say that a
certain player should be sent back to the minors....Sometimes I'm right, sometimes I'm wrong. It seems that when I'm right I hear everyone say, "Oh, Cobra knows what he's talking about." or "Cobra is The Man!" or "Oh Cobra, you are hot!" (actually, only Bruce Paine says that).
