Tigers' Casey injures elbow
— wxyz.com — Detroit Tigers designated hitter Sean Casey left the team's 3-1 loss to Chicago Sunday after being hit... by a pitch in the third inning. The 33-year old Casey was plunked by Gavin Floyd on the left elbow and was diagnosed with a contusion. He was pinch hit for later in the game by Craig Monroe. Sheffield out with sore shoulder, unsure when he'll return
