As of 12 weeks ago, Gwynn could only
bench press 40 lbs. according to the L.A. Times.
Yes, you read that right - 40lbs. I'm not even sure how one benches 40 lbs., considering a normal bar is 45 lbs. And he could only do 5 pushups.

Since they hit the scene playing baseball at
the football-famous Mile High Stadium back in 1993, the
Rockies haven't been your average expansion team. Sure, they haven't won a World Series and this year is only their 2nd ever playoff appearance. In all reality, they've been pretty mediocre in their 15 year existence, but the way they have been mediocre has been great for the game of baseball.

at the San Diego Hall of Champions today and
