 Roto Chronicles: National League–Aug. 18
Roto Chronicles: National League–Aug. 18
With the end of the season a little over a month away some players find themselves performing better than ever, while others are playing to forget about their seasons. Who did well, who suffered? The answers are near. As the playoff hunt starts to heat up certain players are doing the same, while some are choking under the pressure. This is common as the hunt for the pennant gets more and ...

Loney hits 'em a mile high
Loney hits 'em a mile high
When did James Loney start thinking about making a run at his record-setting nine-RBI outburst at Coors Field? Was it when he doubled in three runs in the first inning Saturday night? He gets around the bases, but just barely. And his batting average is consistently in the .255-.260 range. You know exactly what you’re getting here. Pop. SportsJustice: Just one thing would justify the Willy Taveras trade.
Richard, There's no way this will turn out to be a good trade. The Astros may even let JJ leave in free agency. If that happens, we will have traded a good (not great) center fielder, a possible star (Hirsch) and a decent 5th starter for one ...
