Future All Star Al Jefferson is the second
star power forward after Garnett in Timberwolves history, but
McHale is intent on misusing his talents as well by forcing him to play center. It's a position where Big Al is uncomfortable and statistically half as effective. Meanwhile, Kevin Love could be great, but by all accounts he will be completely redundant with Jefferson. It's a crying shame.
A video tribute to Kevin Garnett for his
12 seasons with the Minnesota Timberwolves.
The votes are in the the SBNation readers

Assuming published reports are true and the Celtics
acquire Kevin Garnett from the Timberwolves in exchange for
Al Jefferson, Ryan Gomes, Gerald Green, Sebastian Telfair, Theo Ratliff and a No. 1 pick, can the Celtics make the playoffs in 2007-08?
As of now, nothing has happened with the
proposed four-team deal that would send Kevin Garnett to
the Lakers because the Celtics don't want to move Al Jefferson. Minnesota says with no Jefferson, there's no deal. Thursday is the likely deadline.
Al Jefferson was the key to the KG
deal, but we really haven't taken a look at

From the Washington Post: But the drop-off from
the 24-win Boston Celtics to the Timberwolves has been
considerable, with Minnesota on track win 18 games.
So how over the first 3-1/2 months of
the season did the Nets end up in a
hole they may not be able to dig themselves out of? As far as Richard Jefferson is concerned, the team was distracted by the situation surrounding a certain former teammate.
No surprise: I love the NBA All-Defensive Team.
Love the idea, love the voting, love to analyze
it and memorize it and oh yes, it just was announced today. I also think it’s hilarious that Baron Davis got one coach’s vote. I don’t ...
The Minnesota Timberwolves reported today that forward Al
Jefferson has suffered a mild sprain of the medical
collateral ligament in his right knee. An MRI Exam taken yesterday confirmed the injury.
Six Pack Sports Report talks about the reasons
to LOVE the KG to Boston deal.
Wow. Just wow. Why have I waited this
long to thank Kevin Garnett? Maybe because the Championship
run started when we finalized the trade for him and I thought this made a good bookend. Maybe because of my unyielding mancrush for KG so I wanted to save the best (with a heartfelt nod to Pierce) for last. Or maybe, probably, I couldn't find the words.
Chris Kaman was invited to participate with the
USA Select team, the squad of youngsters which serves

between the Celtics and Timberwolves.
The only true face of the Minnesota Timberwolves
since their inception in 1989 is probably busy packing
his bags and saying his good-byes. The deal isn't official but I'm going out on a limb and saying its done. Kevin Garnett is the reason the Wolves have any fans left, and with the exception of one year, the only reason fans came out to games on a frequent basis. Before I break down how great ...
Al Jefferson may have been on to something.
Last season he vehemently stood by his belief that
the Boston Celtics didn't need Greg Oden. He said it during an 18-game losing streak. He said it after one of the worst seasons in franchise history. No ...
