Confidence seems to be down, already two losses at home, and the team with such high expectations is really struggling to keep it together here early in the season. Once again it's the same old story. In the second half the Hawks got more than their fair share of easy buckets thanks to Portland not getting back on defense. Transition D was a killer. The Hawks are a young athletic team, why wouldn't they take advantage of our poor efforts in transition? I'm so fed up with our struggles on offense too. All I ever see are jump shots. It might not be anything serious, but it was not a good sign late in the second period, when the Hawks called a timeout, and Caron Butler was on one end of the bench, massaging his knee and talking with head athletic trainer Eric Waters while Coach Flip Saunders was addressing the team.
