Ben Gordon Headed to CSKA Moscow?

The Daily Herald is reporting that Ben Gordon has been in contract talks with CSKA Moscow about a one-year deal worth about $5.5 million.
The Chicago Bulls and Ben Gordon have been negotiating all summer, and it was recently reported that the Bulls have offered Gordon a five-year deal worth around $59 million.
The talks with CSKA can be taken one of two ways—he is talking with CSKA in order to get the Bulls to pay up, or that he really does not want to play with the Bulls ever again, even if that means playing for less money.
I do believe that these talks with CSKA will force the Bulls to either put the money up to keep him in a Bulls uniform, or trade him away so they do not lose his value.
Either way, I do not believe that Ben Gordon will bolt for Europe, because he loves the NBA and there is more money to be made in America—even if he only accepts the qualifying offer.
But I suppose stranger things have happened.

Find more top sports news, videos, and blogs on BallHype: NBA, Ben Gordon, Chicago Bulls

What Should the Bulls Do With Ben Gordon?

This article can also be found at Hoops4Life.com , a basketball fan's site. I decided to post it here because, well, you all seem to enjoy this stuff.
Ben Gordon has watched free agents come and go. But he is, at this point, the last major name left on the scrap heap of the NBA's free agent market. There has been a lot of speculation that he may go somewhere else and that he will never play as a Bull again, which means that my Gordon jersey is probably no longer relevant. "I guess it's safe to say I've played my last game in a Bulls uniform," Gordon has been quoted as saying. The most likely thing to happen, according to ESPN, is that there will be a sign-and-trade. Gordon's agent, Raymond Brothers, has reportedly been speaking to teams about that option. "I'm pretty optimistic it'll happen," said Gordon, who averaged 18.6 points last season. "It's very likely." The problem with Gordon is that he wants Luol Deng's contract, but he isn't really a starter. ...

Find more top sports news, videos, and blogs on BallHype: NBA, Ben Gordon, Chicago Bulls, Paul Millsap

Ben Gordon to the Jazz: An Unlikely Trade That Might Make Sense

Steve Luhm of the Salt Lake Tribune writes a series called "Ask the Expert." In his latest edition he answers the question of the Jazz making a deal for Ben Gordon.
Luhm writes:
"Depending on what he would cost the Jazz, the addition of Gordon would be a good one. He would certainly add defense-stretching shooting range to a team that, despite the presence of Memo Okur, Kyle Korver, C.J. Miles, and Williams, could use more."
He goes on to say:
"I don't know if Ronnie Brewer would be enough to seal any Kirilenko-Gordon deal, and the same thing goes for Matt Harpring or Miles. I'm also guessing the Jazz would not include Carlos Boozer or Okur in any deal with Chicago. If they did, the Bulls would have to include several players from the group I already mentioned, most likely Hinrich and Thomas or Noah."
Of all the trade scenarios involving Ben Gordon, this is one that the Bulls get the most out of. Andre Kirilenko is a very solid defender and either Brewer, Harpring, or Miles would ...

Find more top sports news, videos, and blogs on BallHype: NBA, Ben Gordon, Utah Jazz, Chicago Bulls
