Carlos Boozer

Oh, LeBron. In your enthusiasm, promises were made
which may be difficult to keep. Especially sans ankles.
WFNY is not happy about the pronouncement. Time Magazine scored the scoop except for everyone else on the planet blogging about it before..
"He's [Deron Williams] going to be smiling for
the next four years" because of his new contract
worth up to $70 million, Boozer said. "And we will, too, because we'll have him on our side."
Most every conversation I have with Pat Riley
starts with him responding, "No, that wouldn't be right."
(Even though it often is right.)
I couldn’t help but laugh when I saw
the comments from Utah Jazz GM Kevin O’Connor regarding
Carlos Boozer’s impending 2009 free agency. Boozer, the same player who abandoned Cleveland in what many feel was a pre-arranged “double-cross”, has a player option in 2009.
Brand isn’t quite in the same double-crossing class
as Boozer, but he’s close, and the situations are
hilariously similar. Well, for fans of NBA teams beside the Cavs and Clippers, that is.
The USA Basketball Men’s Senior National Team will
be profiled in a five-part documentary series, “Road To
Redemption presented by NIKE”, it was announced today. The series, produced by NBA Entertainment, will debut with a special one-hour episode that will air Wednesday, July 2 at 7:00 PM ET on ESPN2.
Danny Ferry’s selection of NC State’s J.J. Hickson
with the #19 pick in last night’s draft has
left many Cavs fans reeling and fearing the worst. But when you take a deep breath and look at the Cavaliers’ draft overall, there is much to feel good about. Take a look at the facts. The Cavaliers were...
Sure, Carlos Boozer has a summer home in
Miami, and Chad Ford is quite the "expert," but
there's no way Carlos Boozer will end up with the Miami Heat. Here are the rebuttals and reasons against this nonsense rumor.
Bosh would help balance the offense with Wade,
seemingly could coexist with Michael Beasley, and would round
out a skilled core for years to come. By then (the Raptors hope), the Heat might address such a need through deals with Carlos Boozer or Elton Brand in the 2009 offseason (if not sooner).
In today's NBA, if you aren't drafted in
the first round, you are all but a free
agent hoping to land a team. There is no guaranteed money and your chances of making it are slim. Sure you have examples of guys making it, like Carlos Boozer, Mo Williams and Guilbert Arenas, but you have way too many that don't make it. In fact, most of the second round picks seemed to be European guys that ...
Last Monday, USA Basketball announced the 12 man
roster that will comprise the 2008 U.S. Olympic basketball
team. Five of the 12 have participated in the Olympics previously (Carmelo Anthony, Carlos Boozer, LeBron James, Jason Kidd and Dwyane Wade); the only U.S. team that had more Olympic veterans was the 1996 squad--the so-called "Dream Team II" that welcomed back six players from the first ...
RaptorsHQ breaks down the reasons why free agent
swingman Carlos Delfino won't be back in Raptor red
next year...
I have exercised my right to vote once.
I was 18 when I cast my ballot for
some local primary race. I had no clue who I voted for, who they were, what they stood for...nothing. I voted simply because I could. I have not voted since, mainly because I ...
With all of this activity happening in anticipation
of the spectacular 2010 NBA free agent market, how
will the Utah Jazz be affected? Draft Guru offers his thoughts.
Elton Brand was recently paired up with one
of his good friends from the NBA in Baron
Davis. Davis was the piece that was going to create another good team in the Clippers. Davis and Brand were going to be the pieces that created a deep playoff run. Brand had given his word to his club, and his friend, that he was going to re-sign with the Clippers. Just ask the Cavaliers ...
Reviewing the reasoning behind the Brand agreement with
the Sixers
The Clippers do suck. HAHA.
Baron COULDN'T Boozer the Clippers...could he?
Elton Brand played the game of free agency
by the rules. There was no lying that had
to take place for him to get out of his current contract. There was no inability on the Clippers' part to offer him as much as he wanted. That wasn't the case four years ago in Cleveland with the Cavs and another undersized power forward out of Duke, and that's why Elton Brand is no Carlos Boozer.
