I’m Sick of Losing to Detroit, too
jbeaniesports.wordpress.com 5/21/2007 — Cavs, Pistons again. We all know the story lines and history; A rematch of last year’s Eastern Conference Semifinals, Cavs going 1-3 against them this year, fifth straight conference finals for the Pistons, the Cavs are struggling, the Pistons look determined, etc., etc., etc.
Drew Gooden said it best the other day, “I’m sick of losing to Detroit.” Don’t worry D-Good, LeBron is sick ...
Ira Newble is in Detroit
yaysports.com 5/21/2007 — The majority of the internet - nay, the world - are picking the Detroit Lasers to defeat the Cleveland Retarded Cameleons in the Eastern Conference Finals.
A notable exception (delusion?) is Fear the Sword, which not only picks CLE, but picks them ...
NBA Playoffs: Free Darko Playoff Pants Party: Pistons Vs. Cavaliers
deadspin.com 5/21/2007 — The NBA 's Eastern Conference Finals begin tonight, if you can muster up the energy to watch.
Because we feel that no one understands the NBA more like the way we wish we understood the NBA than the gang at Free Darko , we've asked them to write ...
Pistons escape with Game 1 win over Cavs
msnbc.msn.com 5/22/2007 — Cavaliers superstar LeBron James was scoreless in the first quarter and finished with a playoff-low 10 points, on 5-of-15 shooting. He had 10 rebounds and nine assists.
Hamilton Leads Listless Detroit to Game One Win Over Cleveland
20secondtimeout.blogspot.com 5/22/2007 — TNT's analysts concluded that LeBron James should shoot more. Funny how Kobe Bryant is called "selfish" because he tries to take over games but James is criticized for lacking Bryant's "killer instinct."
Two-time MVP Steve Nash shot 1-8 in the fourth quarter of Game Five and disappeared in the first half of Game Six. We he "selfish" and lacking a "killer instinct" in the same series?
On passing and choking and barely scraping by for the win
detroitbadboys.com 5/22/2007 —
There it is. Should LeBron James have kept the ball or passed it? The replay clearly shows he had a step on Tayshaun Prince, and there’s little doubt in my mind that he could have tied it up with a thunderous dunk. He ...
A Moment Of Clarity -- Game 1 Review
fearthesword.com 5/22/2007 — For the better part of 46 minutes the Cavaliers played the perfect game. Sometime perfect isn’t pretty, and it definitely isn’t textbook. The defense was in your face. The rebounding was dominating. Zydrunas Ilgauskas was an offensive force. Detroit seemed to be in one of their disinterested funks, lulled to sleep by their own over-confidence. It was shaping up to be a Cavalier win. Then, ...
Pistons up 1-0
sports.espn.go.com 5/22/2007 — James was scoreless in the first quarter and finished with a playoff-low 10 points, on 5-of-15 shooting, 10 rebounds and fell just short of a triple-double with nine assists. Despite frequent contact, James didn't attempt one free throw.
I'm so un-invested in the playoffs anymore.... but I am picking the Cavs because I am rooting for the Pistons. This way whoever wins, I at least get something good out of it.
I want the Pistons to win because I think they have the best shot at taking down the DIRTY SPURS. I don't want San Antonio to get a ring this year!!
Ha ha. Not excited about the conference finals, buddy?
Haha, an NBA game where no team hit 80 points? Did the Pistons fans behave themselves at least?
Man that was a good nap!
