I don’t know how many players in the
NBA use marijuana, though we do know now about
Noah. We’ve previously heard issues with Allen Iverson, Chris Webber, Robert Parish, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Rasheed Wallace and at one time most of Portland, though it is a particularly liberal place.

"I saw my first Celtics-Lakers rivalry game in
1969," Abdul-Jabbar recalled Sunday, referring to a matchup in
the NBA finals a few months after he completed his college career at UCLA. "I never had a hatred for them. When I was in high school, I was a Celtics fan. I got to meet (then-Boston stars) Bill Russell, (John) Havlicek, (Bob) Cousy, those guys, when I was in ninth grade."

Ollie Taylor rode the bench in high school
before jumping center against Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in college and
playing against Julius Erving and Rick Barry in the ABA. Along the way, he set numerous National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) records while leading San Jacinto to the 1968 national title. Taylor followed that up by lifting Houston to a Sweet 16 appearance in 1970.
