Had the pleasure of exchanging questions with Carolyn
and her good friend Mizzo from the Cavaliers blog
And One over at Cleveland.com (which looks strangely similar to Oregonlive). Our side of the questions are over there , so be sure to check them out. Thanks to Carolyn and SJ for putting this ...
outlaw.jpg Indeed it is. This "Jolly Rancher green"
1996 Impala is a really something--although it sort of
looks like the Incredible Hulk threw it up--and while I'm a little confused on why the gentle, if not downright goofy, Outlaw went with the ...
The most exciting Trail Blazer in the preseason
so far has not been Brandon Roy, Greg Oden,
or LaMarcus Aldridge. As a matter of fact, the guy has not even played his official NBA game yet.
As fantastic as Rudy looked in his NBA
preseason debut against Sacramento, scoring and passing with precision
and flair, can he perform like that in the regular season? What adjustments must he make in order to produce when the games count?
In this one little preseason game, on a
Tuesday night in October, we learned about Greg Oden.
We learned about Rudy Fernandez and Sergio Rodriguez. Our belief in Brandon Roy and LaMarcus Aldridge was reassured. We saw that Travis Outlaw, Joel ...
Jonathan Somers-Harris of thelakersnation.com was good enough to
answer some questions for us on the upcoming season,
L.A.'s history with the Blazers and those lovely Laker forum-trolls. We answered some questions for him on their site, so be sure to ...
It was an entertaining event complete with a
intra-squad scrimmage, a rookie dance, and the highly anticipated
Blazer debuts of Greg Oden, Rudy Fernandez and Jerryd Bayless. LaMarcus Aldridge was named the MVP of the game with 25 points and...

that Aldridge has looked fantastic so far in training
camp, and that was on display in front of the fans. He's beefed up his upper body, and his outside shot has never looked better. If he's healthy, he will ...
The Blazers kicked off their second-full day of
doubles this morning in Tualatin. For us media types,
they ramped up the action we were able to see going full court, 5-on-5. Oden was held out of his second-straight practice....
Let's take a trip down memory lane, shall
we? Think back to my recap of the workouts
at the practice facility (or if you can't remember that far back, just read the post below). Remember this little passage? Aldridge looks to have added some muscle, ...
Former Boilermaker and current Rocket, Carl Landry, is
getting resigned by Houston. Is he being paid what
he deserves?
Somewhat scary news has come to light as
Nathan Jawai has been held out of Toronto Raptors
training camp after a heart irregularity came to light in routine screenings done at the team facility. Training camp is due to start today, Tuesday, in Ottawa, but the big Aussie will not take part...
While Greg Oden and Brandon Roy garner national
attention, LaMarcus Aldridge sets out to make people remember
his name
Information overload. With so much coming out of
media day yesterday, time to round up the links.
In case you missed it, the photo shoot with the AP was grand. And tons o' coverage from Casey Holdahl at trailblazers.com. Tons....
The Trail Blazers held their first practice of
the season today in Tualatin. It was mostly a
defensive affair, that the media was allowed to witness, the team ran through sets for the final 15 minutes of practice. I chose...
