Rookie O.J. Mayo has been taking the shots and calling the shots for Memphis during the Vegas Summer League, leading the Grizzlies in scoring (18.7 ppg), field goal attempts (42) and turnovers (18). He is shooting well from all three ranges (.476 FG%, .615 3FG%, .889 FT%) but he has just six assists in three games, ranking third on the team behind Javaris Crittenton and Mike Conley.

David Friedman posted 11 days ago from 20secondtimeout.blogspot.com [link]

Find more top sports news, videos, and blogs on BallHype: NBA, Memphis Grizzlies, O.J. When a young, contributing rotation player born and bred in the United States with every logical interest to stay in America decides to go to Europe, that leaves teams scrambling to replace him.

As we all know, the Memphis Grizzlies lost their summer league game tonight against the Los Angeles Fakers. Bad News? Well the bad news is that we lost to a team that has ONE guaranteed player on its roster. Coby Karl shredded us with his mediocre looks and subpar talent. Tis the nature of the beast I suppose. The Good news is that our team now knows the meaning of defeat, even in its simplest ...

Rover found this 12 days ago on www.wearenationofgrizzlam.com [link]

Find more top sports news, videos, and blogs on BallHype: NBA, Memphis Grizzlies, O.J. He was then traded along with a 2009 2nd round pick to the Rockets for Darrell Arthur.

Greene ended up signing a contract with the Rockets just five minutes before his first summer league game, where he dropped 40 points against the Phoenix Suns.
